NYC Street Art & A Pop Of Green

Happy Monday!
This is my last week as a PR Coordinator & my last week at C&M Media. It’s such a bittersweet feeling and although I’m sad leaving my C&M family, I am incredibly excited for the next chapter of my life!

I’ve never truly appreciated street art until starting a blog. I used to always walk right on by without a second thought. But, nowadays my mom and I always set out to find graffiti walls & bright colored doors and believe me there is no shortage of them in the city. I’ll be the first one to admit, my style is pretty simple and classic. On most days you can find me in head to toe black or a mixture of black and white, but I love adding a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit.
On this particular day, I wore my Umano #RockAPocket tee. I talked more about the brand in this blog post here. But their tees are just so soft and unique. Plus, I figured if I’m wearing a printed pocket tee designed by a little NYC student, what better way to feature it, than against NYC street art?!

Outfit Details
Shirt: Umano via Bloomingdales. Pants: Banana Republic. Sweater: C.Wonder (old, similar here & here). Shoes: Tory Burch. Bag: Celine. Necklace: BTB Jewelry. Sunnies: Ray-Ban.
Thank you so very much for reading L.A Style, N.Y Smile!! Let’s all make a pact to have an amazing & successful week!

  • Dear Linda, You always look so happy and full of positive energy and that makes me smile. I have met a few wonderful girls through blogging that are just like that and of course, you are one of them. Love the outfit, casual but chic and love the pop of color you added with the cardigan. The wall you picked as you pictures background is amazing and you are right, we live in such a fast pace and always in the thinking and doing mode and fail to see the beauty that can only be seen in the present moment. I understand how you feel about changing jobs and celebrate with you the excitement and happiness that the new job is bringing to you right now. You did it girl! and you own it so look always up and keep moving forward and don't forget to always give thanks:-) Take care my friend, Jeannette
