A Little Leather Skirt & Bright Layers

Happy Friday!

“It’ll be a quiet & relaxing January.” Things my boss likes to say to lead me on. This January so far has been anything but quiet & relaxing. What also doesn’t help is that suddenly it feels like we are living in Antarctica. But, it’s a new year & I get to sleep in tomorrow and stay in all weekend if I want to so I’m embracing all of the positive vibes!
Since I’m currently falling asleep on my computer I’m gonna keep it short & sweet today. A quilted leather skirt purchased at my favorite store, Banana Republic & some bright layers since I love a printed shirt and a pop of color. And of course my favorite Dolce Vita slip ons. Seriously so comfortable and I’m loving the brand.
Also…remember when I talked about a set of pictures that were shot where it was so cold that now I look at them and can’t help but laugh? Well this is the last one of the set. It was so cold that day and I practically cried and threw a quiet fit in my head taking my coat off. Funny, because after the weather we had yesterday I’m sure this particular day would have felt like summer in Miami.

Also this weather is ridiculous. It's not even winter, it's the set of frozen!

  • You've somehow managed to tie together polka dots, winter-appropriate bright colors, quilted leather and a camel coat into the same outfit and make it look SMASHING!

  • Dear Linda! I still don't know how you take you coat off in that brutal super cold weather. And kudos to your mom also for taking the pictures! You both rock! Love that mint green sweater on top of a polka dot shirt paired with a leather skirt. That look screams preppy chic to me. You always look so happy and beautiful and before I forget, the Burberry coat is TDF. Have an awesome weekend and enjoy your days off at home. Blessings going your way my friend. XOXO, Jeannette
