“Cause it’s too cold…” to take off my coat for blog pictures. I’ve been listening to this cover of “Sweater Weather” by Max Schneider & Alyson Stoner since Saturday and I can’t get enough of it. It’s such a gorgeous cover and makes me want to stay inside, curl up on the couch and read a good book. But, back to my main point, it’s too cold!! I’ve never been over something as much as I am over winter. I’m tired of taking off my coat and freezing my butt off, I’m tired of seeing my frozen, awkward smile in pictures and I’m tired of my skin being as dry as a dessert. I’m ready for Spring, I’m ready for Spring dresses, I’m ready for daylight saving time, and I’m just ready to stop freezing my butt off every time I try to document my outfits.
So since I’m too cold & too busy complaining about the cold, I’m featuring my weekend uniform. I’m normally wearing my Burberry coat, but sometimes when I’m running errands or off to see a movie with my boyfriend I want to keep it a little more casual. So I turn to my American Rag coat, which I’ve had since high school, but love so much I refuse to let it go (no mom, it’s not too old, I’m not giving it away regardless of what you say…love you). I also reach for my Tory Burch riding boots, a great scarf for a pop of color and a leopard clutch to throw all of my necessities in.
Coat: American Rag (really old! similar here & here). Scarf: J.Crew (old, similar here). Pants: J.Crew. Boots: Tory Burch (old, great option here & on sale!). Clutch: Clare V. Hat: Rag & Bone. Sunnies: Ray-Ban.
Thank you so much for reading L.A Style, N.Y Smile!
