I’m thoroughly convinced I could spend the whole weekend sleeping and still feel as if I didn’t get enough…
And of course my chunky monkey made a cameo !
I remember when Topshop first opened in NYC. Everyone was so excited and meanwhile young & naive Linda found the SoHo store completely overwhelming and frankly a more expensive Forever21 experience. Since then I’ve tried to get along with Topshop…every time a blogger posted something from the store that I would like, in I would go feeling hopeful….and out I would walk empty handed. The moral of this story… Topshop and I just didn’t get along.
Which is funny because I recently fell in
love (like?) with the store. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect denim skirt. Like any self respecting fashion girl I obviously wanted the Alexa Chung x AG version. And like any self respecting assistant in fashion, didn’t want to shell out a pretty penny for a denim skirt that might end up just being a trend….plus it’s now sold out everywhere. I don’t know how, but this search led me to scrolling through the Topshop skirt section, but I was really impressed…in the “I purchased four skirts in the matter of one week” way.
This one stood out to me instantly. I love the pattern, the buttons all down the front and the a-line style. And since it’s super comfortable I can honestly see this being a go-to piece for me for the summer and I’m totally excited to style it a million and one different ways.
