A Palm Print Dress & Marc Fisher Adalyn Wedges

State of Being Holiday Dress Marc Fisher Adalyn Wedges Live Laugh Linda Quinones
Happy Monday everyone and hope you all had a great weekend!

I’m almost finished with binge watching Glee and man oh man is it giving me all the feels.  From all their covers of my favorite songs, the obvious connection you feel with the characters and the way that they address real life issues, I’m not afraid to admit that I tear up during every single episode.

Am I the only person that has a story for every article of clothing or accessory piece in my wardrobe?
Maybe I’m lame, but everything in my closet means something to me. I think that’s why I have such a hard time getting rid of old clothes. Whether it’s a memory of why I wanted something, how I got something, what I wore it to, a specific time in my life or how I felt in it, there’s some emotion in everything I own. I realized while editing these pictures, that I was really excited to share this post because all of these pieces have one thing in common. I remember wanting all of these pieces so badly, but they were just unattainable so when I finally added them to my wardrobe, I could only think… Finally!
Allow me to give you a little run down of today’s lineup:
This girl *insert emoji of finger pointing to moi* barely has the budget to buy an ice cream cone nonetheless a pair of Chloe wedges, so when I found out Marc Fisher makes an amazing non-tacky dupe, I was dying to get my hands on these. Welp, they were sold out everywhere and I do mean everywhere. Even those random websites that you’re not even sure are legitimate. So when I saw everyone on social media abuzz with excitement over these shoes restocking, I was so excited and quickly ordered them. I originally wanted to get the lighter pair, but figured the orange wasn’t too practical for everyday so went with this one and I couldn’t be happier. They’re so dang cute and ridiculously comfortable.
As for this dress, I’ve been dying to add something palm print into my wardrobe and had my sights set on this dress. I had this vision of shooting it down in Miami amongst the palm trees and was so excited to purchase it. Well, let me tell you, it sold out!! I’m not kidding when I say that I kept this tab open on my phone for about a month and periodically refreshed the page and when it finally restocked, I quickly put in my order and although I wasn’t able to shoot it in Miami, I have no regrets.
Lastly, two items you’ve seen on the blog a ton already are these sunglasses and this bag, but I remember wanting these splurge items so badly that I hated every bag and sunglass in my collection because I only wanted these two things. You all know what I mean, the thought that your life and wardrobe will be complete if you just get your hands on that one thing that you really love. Well I was so happy when I was finally able to add these pieces into my collection that they were all I wore and still all I want to wear.
