Until Next Time Miami :: Summer Stripes

Happy Monday Babes!

I came to a realization last week that I love my current job. Like really love it to the point where I’m not even mad that it’s Monday. Sure, I hate getting up early and I’m probably dragging myself out of bed, but I love what I do so it makes it a little easier to get up at the crack of dawn.

All good things must come to an end my friends.

After about 14 outfit post, this is my very last post from Miami. I can’t believe it!! I’m also pretty sad about it, because I loved going through and editing my photos and thinking about all the memories we made. But hey, I guess that just means I need to start making more travel plans to make more memories and take more photos.

I’m sure you know by now, but I love stripes. Striped anything and everything. So when I saw this dress, it was naturally already coming home with me especially since it has sleeves and I love dresses with sleeves. I’m not much of a midi dress kind of girl. Don’t get me wrong, I think they’re fabulous and on everyone else I love them, but on me… no no no. But, I actually loved this dress because it was too comfortable to pass up and with the cinched waist you can slightly control the length.

I wore this one early morning for breakfast and for exploring the hotel and the grounds. It’s a little more dressed up than my other looks, but that’s what I love about vacations. You can wear whatever you want and it doesn’t matter cause you’re on vacation so you can do w-h-a-t-e-v-e-r you want!! Now, Miami doesn’t necessarily get cold or cool once it hits May, but there was a nice breeze in the air and it was comfortable so this was perfect. Also, I think it’s such a great classic dress that I’ve worn it back in the city for events and occasions that call for a more dressed up look.

ALSO…!

I just made a Facebook page for Live Laugh Linda! I’ve been blogging for about two years now so I figured it was time. To be honest, I’ve hesitated for so long just because I’ve always been scared to see what people say about it or worried and embarrassed that people are going to judge me. It’s one of the reasons why I started my blog after graduating from college. I felt this newfound sense of freedom by not having to see people everyday that judged you if you did something out of the norm like create a website where you post your outfits. But, I’m honestly so proud of my space and it is something that makes me happy so I wanted to create a new platform to share content with you all so here we are. I would love if you checked it out and liked it and if you have a page as well, let me know because I would love to support!
