Happy Friday babes! I love mixing and playing with textures. When you naturally gravitate towards simple and classic pieces and silhouettes like myself, textures become your best friend to make your outfit a little more interesting.Velvet has been a huge trend this season and it’s something that I’ve been dying to try. I just love the idea of a velvet cami and how it seems so simple, but is so much more luxe thanks to the fabric and color. When I stumbled upon this blush pink cami online it was the only thing I could think about until it became mine. It’s under $50 which is great because as much as I’m loving the velvet trend right now, it’s just that, a trend, so I don’t want to spend too much money on it.

I not only love the color of this cami, but I just love the way it fits. It’s so simple to just throw on, but has a swingy hem which I adore. To take this look a step further, I paired my go-to suede moto jacket with it. Mixing textures may sometimes be a faux pas, but I actually like the look of suede and velvet mixed together. It’s just such an easy way to elevate an otherwise simple look!
