I almost wrote Happy Monday. I also didn’t publish this post yesterday because I skipped the gym AFTER writing about being proud of myself for going to the gym. I’m a mess. But, on a more positive note, I feel like this week flew by, which is a great thing and I’m so happy tomorrow is Friday. I’ve been on a major shopping kick lately. I actually think I’ve been pretty good with saving money, especially since so many of the holiday sets at Sephora are already out so I’m trying to save money cause I’m makeup crazy!! But, so many of my favorite stores have been having sales or some great new arrivals lately and I just can’t help myself. You guys know that my style is pretty classic and simple. I’m all about investing in that one great piece and really utilizing it so I’ve been finding so many dupes for pieces I wore last fall and wanted to share. So today I’ve rounded up my 5 easy to recreate favorite fall looks!
One of my favorite looks from last fall. I think a striped dress is such a staple and I actually had picked this one up during the summer. To transition it into fall, I added my go-to moto jacket that now comes in a bunch of different colors and some booties.
I picked this dress up last fall when it was on super sale at Nordstrom. It’s so simple and basic which I actually love because I can style it a million different ways. One of my favorite ways is with a blanket scarf and booties.
My suede moto jacket again! It really is the best investment. Velvet was a big trend last fall and it still is. I’m not a huge velvet person, but I like a little touch of it which is why I picked up this pink velvet cami. There are so many velvet options out in the market now so I would for sure recommend giving the trend a try and seeing what you think!
I could live in cozy, oversized sweaters. You guys know I’m a big baby when it comes to the cold. If it’s in the 60s, I want to pull out the winter coat. You can’t go wrong with a big, chunky sweater. And one of the things I love about them is, you can layer a tee or tank or whatever top you prefer under it and when you get to work or your destination, just take off the sweater. Or if you’re like me and you’re freezing until it becomes June again, just snuggle up with it in the office.
I’m a huge believer that you don’t have to put away your summer clothes when fall rolls around. There are so many ways to transition your wardrobe over. This striped top and denim skirt were my summer basics and I just made them more fall appropriate with some booties and a cape.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I’ve been writing pretty personal posts lately so I wanted to switch up and just take about style today since I’ve been hit by the shopping bug!
