I used to walk by Lincoln Center without a second thought. Sure, it’s pretty, but it held no significance to me and frankly just another over-raved about spot in NYC. But, after living out my dream and having just about the best day of my life in September during NYFW, I have a newfound appreciation for Lincoln Center. It truly is gorgeous and just passing by it elicits dreams and memories of all of the fabulous fashion people & street style photographers that have walked through here. It’s hard to explain, but there’s a certain feeling in the air during NYFW and plus it’s fabulous knowing all of the top bloggers & some of my favorite bloggers are in the city!
Boy, was it chilly this weekend. I decided to pull out my new favorite coat. As I was walking to work one day I saw this coat in the Zara window and instantly fell in love and could not stop thinking about it. I love the hunter green color, the gold hardware and all of the zippers and buckles. Plus I recently purchased this oversized J.Crew turtleneck and I am obsessed so it’s safe to say I am never taking it off.
Turtleneck: J.Crew. Shorts: Express (old, similar). Coat: Zara. Tights: J.Crew. Booties: Tory Burch (last season, new here). Bag: Botkier (similar here). Necklace: Juicy Couture(old, similar here, love this one here) Sunnies: Ray-Ban.
Plus a few of my favorite things from this weekend….
There was this massive t.v screen in the middle of Lincoln Center. The images kept moving and to be honest it was fascinating to look at. So, yes I did stand there with the rest of the tourist to watch the strange, projection. Plus it was a pretty cool backdrop for a picture or two. It looks as if I’m anywhere, but in NYC.
My favorite thing about Lincoln Center is the amazing backdrop it provides for pictures. Seriously all of the buildings and the way the sun shines down is just a blogger dream come true.
A quick stop at Columbus Circle was the best idea, since my mom and I stumbled upon this Burberry van. I’m going through a major Burberry obsession period right now so you can only imagine my excitement at finding my dream car! Now, if only I had a license…
Thank you so much for reading L.A Style, N.Y Smile! Only two more days until the weekend!
