But, the minute I laid eyes on this dress, I just knew I had to have it. No questions asked.
I loved that it was made of rayon/cotton, since I’m such a stickler for fabrics (find out why here!). But, I especially loved that it was off-the-shoulder since it’s my current obsession, the fact that it was white since it’s my go-to color that I gravitate towards (I still don’t know if you can count white as a color… does anyone know?!), the embroidered detail down the front, along the hem and on the sleeves and the fact that it had sleeves.
During our time in Miami, we stayed at the Fontainebleau, which is the most gorgeous hotel I have ever been in and I refuse to stay at another hotel the next time I’m in Miami. They had the best pool area (not to mention, there were three of them!) and I found myself just constantly being around the pool. I wore this as a coverup during the day, but then threw on my go-to wedges when I headed inside to cool off in the lobby bar. I really loved that I was able to take this dress from the pool to a pretty fancy hotel bar without having to change.
As for sizing, I would definitely recommend sizing down as it runs a little big. I’m wearing an XS for reference. I also found that this dress is really short! And since I’m pretty petite to the point where I’m the current mayor of Munchkinland, that means something. But, I think you could get away with it by wearing it as a coverup to the beach or pool or even throwing some jeans under it and wearing it as a tunic, which I intend to do as well!
