Before we get into today’s nude sweater outfit, let’s jump in and talk about the elephant in the room shall we.
I’ve been dating my boyfriend since I was 15 years old so I defenitely don’t have commitment issues when it comes to relationships, but when it comes to the blog… oh man. This past January, I took the jump and moved my site from blogger to WordPress and gave it a much needed facelift. Don’t get me wrong, I originally liked the redesign, but as time went on something just didn’t feel right.
I was definitely in a rush to get the new site up before I left for Vietnam and because of that certain aspects felt rushed. I liked my site, but I didn’t love it. There were things I thought were great, but there were more things I had issues with. So with that being said, this weekend I bullied the boyfriend (thanks babe!) into helping me give my site another facelift. I’m much happier with the outcome this time around and it definitely just feels right. With daylight savings this Sunday and spring quickly approaching, it feels like a much needed fresh start!
Now on to today’s nude sweater look…
This nude sweater is the second piece that I received from the Chicwish team (first post here) and between this nude sweater and the grid coat, I can totally understand the hype surrounding Chicwish. They have some really trendy pieces that let you keep up to date with what’s currently in season without breaking the bank, but they also have some amazing classic closet staples. I was originally drawn to this nude sweater because of the slight bell sleeve/flare sleeves plus I wanted to add more neutral/beige colors into my closet. This is seriously the perfect sweater for all seasons, it’s cozy enough for fall/winter and would be great for layering, but it’s also light enough for spring/summer, plus it’s slightly cropped so it would be super cute with some denim shorts and it’s under $50!
Now on to these boyfriend jeans… if I had to wear a uniform in my everyday life, it would definitely include boyfriend jeans. I picked these up right before my trip and I’m so happy I did because they’re super comfortable and I love the distressing on them. I went from hating denim, to wanting nothing but new jeans. This is my fifth pair of boyfriend jeans and I can honestly tell you, if you still don’t own a pair, you need to get one ASAP! It’s such a closet staple, and will be especially perfect for spring! I dressed it up a bit here with a pair of heels, but be sure to check back on Friday, because I’ll be sharing a more casual/vacation style look with these same boyfriend jeans.
Until then, thank you so much for reading!
