Do you guys have any fun weekend plans?
Tonight the boyfriend and I are either ordering Chinese food or picking up McDonalds and going home to watch the Olympic opening ceremony. I definitely thought it was yesterday night, but it wasn’t so I’ll for sure be calling my mom during commercial breaks to discuss. And Saturday, Eddie & I are planning on going to the movies, grabbing lunch, hopefully stopping at Target and then he’ll be helping me take some Instagram pics for the upcoming week.
I hope you guys have been enjoying the Valentine’s Day content this week!
In case you missed it, I shared a date night look with the boyfriend and a girls night in and out look with Dana. And to keep with the theme of the week, today I’m sharing some Valentine’s Day gift ideas. I’m a big believer that V-Day gifts don’t have to be big and expensive, but I think they should be thoughtful. So whether you’re shopping for the guy in your life, getting inspo to drop hints with your boyfriend or just wanting to treat yourself, I rounded up my favorite picks for Valentine’s Day.
Is this a Valentine’s Day Gift Guide or my wish list for V-day?!
When I was planning to share Valentine’s Day gift ideas, I tried to not only round up my favorite V-Day novelty items, but also the best items to pamper yourself. I think when someone gives you a gift where you can spoil yourself, that it’s so thoughtful.
Sometimes I have super stressful weeks at work and my boyfriend will get me bubble tea or bring me breakfast one morning or even give an impromptu Sephora gift card. It’s just thoughtful when someone wants you to treat yourself!
Who has a picky guy in their life?
Luckily for me, my guy isn’t as picky and I’m pretty much his stylist so as long as I don’t go too crazy, he cooperates.
When it comes to Valentine’s Day gift ideas for men, you just can’t go wrong with some boxers and these V-day themed ones are my favorite. Fun fact, I actually used to buy boxers to wear as sleep shorts because I liked them better than regular female sleep shirts.
Also, Eddie rarely pays attention to skincare so a nice little kit that he can take care of his skin with is perfect and easy for him to use. And I love the idea of a duffel because it could be a nice gift if you guys want to travel more together!
I hope you guys enjoyed today’s post and was able to get some inspiration from it. And if you hate V-day, you can totally just look at this and treat yo self girl. I definitely have my eye on a few things I want to pick up for myself.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a relaxing & fun weekend!
