Happy Monday & Happy Fall! Miranda Priestly didn’t think florals for spring was groundbreaking, so I wonder what she thinks of florals for fall…
The weather has been gorgeous in New York lately. We finally got our first taste of fall and although I was excited to pull out all of my recent purchases, I was not as excited about the early morning chilly walks to work. Luckily for me by the time the afternoon and weekend rolled around the weather was perfect. Not too cold or too hot, just comfortable with a whisper of fall in the air. I decided to take advantage of this perfectly transitional weather and throw on my favorite floral dress, which frankly is 100% polyester so it’s clearly unwearable in the summer. I threw on my navy blazer to make everything more fall appropriate and because once the weather drops below 80, I’m pretty much freezing and ready to crack out the winter coat.
I also decided to take my beautiful new bag out for a spin! I have been obsessed with the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag ever since I saw With Love From Kat wearing it in this post. But, of course I was way too late jumping on the bucket bag bandwagon and it was sold out everywhere. I searched high and low with no luck. On a whim I decided to call this boutique in Chelsea and almost cried when the sales associate told me they had two left in cammello. I usually don’t take/don’t have time to take a full hour long lunch, but on this specific day I did and literally ran to the store. I have a massive handbag addiction and I could not be happier with my newest addition. I can’t wait until the Mansur Gavriel website restocks in December so I can get my hands on the mini version, with a gorgeous bright yellow lining! #HappyGirlHappyBag
