Hello Everyone! Happy Monday!
If you’re currently enjoying a three day weekend, I’m uber jealous because I definitely had to get up early and head to work this morning. But,this is my last full week of work since next Tuesday I start my three week vacation!! My weekend was filled with a lot of trip prep (a post coming soon!), cuddles with my boyfriend and the chubby chihuaha and Netflix. I highly recommed A Series of Unfortunate Events. I was a huge fan of the book series when I was younger so I love seeing it come to life.
Now on to todays outfit…
I’ve been on a huge Free People kick lately. In the past, I really didn’t feel as if the brand reflected my style so I didn’t give any of their pieces a second thought. But, over the summer I became obsessed with their embroidered mini dress in blue and then once fall hit, I fell in love with their oversized cozy sweater and ever since then I’ve found myself always looking to the brand when needing new pieces. I even picked up a ton of dresses and tops from Free People for my upcoming trip!
When I saw this sweater dress I knew I had to try it or else I wouldn’t stop thinking about it. I’m definitely a dresses kind of gal. But, once the slightest bit of cold weather hits, I’m a big whiny baby that can’t handle showing any skin. This sweater dress just looked so cozy and warm and made me feel inspired to take my love of dresses into the colder months. And once it came in, it really was everything I wanted and more. The bell sleeves are more exaggerated in person than on the fit model, but I didn’t mind much. I loved the neutral color and the cozy fabric and even though I styled it with booties here, it would also be perfect with OTK boots.
Thank you all for reading and stopping by! I have a busy week ahead of me at work because I’m trying to get everything done ahead of time and still a ton of trip prep and blog posts to get done. But, at least next week I’ll be soaking up some warmer weather! Hope you all have a great week!
